Those Gallagher Brothers! Oasis were not only well known and popular for their great rock 'n' roll, but also for the two frontmen of the band, Noel and Liam Gallagher. They're the brothers with egos larger than life. During the Oasis saga we've seen the two getting in all sorts of trouble, from squabbling on stage, destroying hotel rooms, to admitting publicly that drugs are the band's inspiration, announcing on TV that they wanted to scrap Paul McCartney and Robbie Williams. Its just something that Oasis fans have come to expect now, but after all brothers will be brothers. |

The Man Behind The Music Noel Gallagher, the man responsible for all except for three of Oasis' songs. He was the band's song writer, lead guitarist, back-up vocalist and my favourite member. Noel is currently working on a solo-album which has no release date as of yet. |

The same old "Beatles Arguement" I have been a fan of Oasis for almost three years now, and even before I liked them I knew they were famous for their "Beatles Like" songs and hairstyles. Personally I think Oasis were much better than Beatles and had much more personality behind them. (I'll give them the hairstyle thing though). Noel has actually worked with Beatle Paul McCartney for causes like International Aid and other fundraising purposes. |

Battle of the Egos Singer Robbie Williams was once a friend of the band's. Robbie was photographed on numerous occasions dancing around on stage with Oasis, but something changed (I don't know what) and it has led to bitter rivalry between Oasis and Robbie. Robbie, upon hearing Oasis' last album, Standing in the Shoulder of Giants, sent a telegram to Liam Gallagher which read "My deepest sympathies, heard the new album" -Robbie Liam reacted by announcing to press that if he ever saw the "fat dancer from Take That" that he would bash his nose him, anywhere. Then Robbie, at the 1999 MTV awards, after winning an award, instead of a "Thank You" speech, said "Come on Liam, I take a hundred thousand pounds of my money and you a hundred thousand of yours and we get a boxing ring to sort this out, or are ya too chicken sh*t?" Liam later declined the offer claiming that Robbie was " just being childish". |

The 1995 MTV awards This was truly a great night for Oasis as they won five awards and were nominated for eight. They well and truly cleaned up and talked a pure load of drunken bollicks when they won. It was a wonder how they were invited back to the next year's awards! |

The Final Oasis This was the last Oasis before they broke up. They only made one album before the break-up. They replaced Guigsy and Bonehead after the two left the band saying that they had just had enough and wanted to spend time with their families. Gem Archer and Andy Bell were called to join the band. |
